Well here it is.... I think it would be a great addition
to the layout BUT !!!!!!
72" radius on the O gauge.
22" radius on the H O gauge
It would take (6) 4' X 7' modules to do each end
The green is O scale lower level.
The Yellow is HO upper level...
A bridge is built anywhere the H O croses the O gauge....

Bruce, Thats a really neat layout. Would it be easier to "lug" around? What would we do with the older modular? Would we scrap it and use the pieces? If we built this, would we use more "inventive" things than on the older modular?

We would still keep the existing
setup. This would be an alternative
to what we currently do.

That is why I put the big BUT in the description....
( The Good )
The main purpose was to open the
modular layout up so us older guy's
would not have to crawl under the modules to get in. Also patrons could see the entire layout.

So if we build two of these things
they layout would then be a U shape. Dave Hunter also said he would buy a roundhouse for it.
( too cool )

( The Bad )
We would have to limit the radius to 70 or 72 deg. O gauge, and 22 to
30 deg rad HO. that SHOULD take care of most club engines.
It would also limit train length size.

( The Ugly )
(12) 4 X 7 sections to do it...
we might need a 45' semi to move all this stuff.

We definitely have the talent in the club to pull this off.
The major hurdle is moving this thing around...
